Gemma DeCetra is a stage manager originally from Madison, Wisconsin.  After some time working in Madison's performing arts scene, she received her bachelor's degree from Northwestern University, focusing on costume design and stage management.  

After graduating, Gemma branched out of theatre as an opera stage manager.  Her other specialties are orchestra stage management and musical theatre stage management, with an emphasis on education and community engagement.  She has done freelance work with many companies around Chicago, including the Grant Park Music Festival, Lyric Opera, and Chicago Opera Theater.

Outside of the professional world, she enjoys making stained glass and baking her top-secret cookie recipe.

Gemma is a proud AGMA member.  She is currently based in Chicago.
